PT HINO FINANCE INDONESIA ORGANIZES FINANCIAL LITERACY PROGRAM AT POSYANDU SARTIKA 10, CIBITUNG

Jakarta, 23 May 2025 - In order to opening of Financial Literacy Month initiated by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), PT Hino Finance Indonesia (the “Company”) carried out financial literacy activities at Posyandu Sartika 10, Cibitung.

This financial literacy activity is aimed at mothers active in integrated health posts (Posyandu). This literacy program not only aims to increase financial knowledge but also includes health education on the importance of nutritious food in supporting children's growth and development.

The main topic on financial literacy and financial management was delivered by Dewi Puspa Sari, the Company's Risk Management Manager. In her presentation, Ms. Dewi emphasized the importance of understanding basic financial planning, how to create a budget, and the value of consistent saving habits. She also provided insights on how housewives can take an active role in maintaining family financial stability, including an introduction to formal financial products and services that are safe and tailored to their needs.

A health education session on nutritional needs for children was delivered by Mrs. Anni Fathiya, a nutritionist. Carrying the theme "Clean and Balanced Food: The Key to a Healthy Child," Ms. Anni shared knowledge with mothers about the importance of a nutritious diet for children’s growth and development. The session covered the importance of food hygiene, selecting nutritious ingredients, and examples of balanced meals that are easy to prepare at home. This educational component aimed to encourage healthy living habits within families, starting with daily nutrition.

Through this initiative, the Company hopes to make a tangible contribution to community well-being through continuous education efforts. Improved financial literacy is expected to empower mothers to make wiser financial decisions, while child health education supports the development of smart, healthy and stronger future generation.
