PT HINO FINANCE INDONESIA PLANTS 4,116 TREES AS PART OF ITS COMMITMENT TO ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

Jakarta, 9 July 2026 – As part of its environmental sustainability initiatives, PT Hino Finance Indonesia (the “Company”) once again conducted a tree-planting program in collaboration with PT Lindungi Bumi Nusantara. This initiative reflects the Company's ongoing efforts to support environmental conservation through reforestation activities that generate long-term benefits for both ecosystems and communities surrounding its operational areas.

The tree-planting program was carried out at two locations: Pangalengan, Bandung Regency, West Java,, and Bengkalis, Riau Province. The activities were conducted in areas surrounding the Company's operations as part of its commitment to promoting greener environments and enhancing environmental quality in the communities where it operates.

In Pangalengan, the Company planted 2,110 Citrus trees, which are expected to support reforestation efforts while creating potential long-term economic value for the surrounding communities. Meanwhile, in Bengkalis, the Company planted 2,006 Rhizophora mangrove seedlings to help preserve coastal ecosystems. Mangrove forests play a vital role in preventing coastal erosion, protecting biodiversity, and absorbing carbon emissions, thereby contributing to climate change mitigation efforts.

Through these initiatives, the Company planted a total of 4,116 trees across both locations. This achievement forms part of the Company's broader sustainability commitment and supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to Climate Action and the protection of terrestrial and coastal ecosystems.

Looking ahead, the Company will continue to expand its sustainability initiatives to create lasting value for the environment and society. Through consistent and responsible environmental programs, the Company remains committed to contributing to a greener, more resilient, and sustainable future for generations to come.
