[CSR ACTIVITY] – CARING FOR EDUCATION ESPECIALLY FOR MEDICAL RESOURCES, PT HINO FINANCE INDONESIA CONDUCT THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME AND FINANCIAL LITERATION

Jakarta, 20 October 2023 - As part of the Company's commitment to education, PT Hino Finance Indonesia (the Company) provide scholarships to students as a form of the Company's concern for the education sector especially towards medical resources. This is the Company's commitments to support sustainable development goals which is Quality Education.

The Company collaborates with PT Indomobil Edukasi Utama to provide English language training scholarships worth IDR 250,000,000 (two hundred and fifty million rupiah) to 100 students of the PGI Cikini Hospital Nursing Academy (Akper RS PGI Cikini). Teachcast with Oxford is an e-learning English course with tutors from the United States that focuses on conversations.  

Mr. Taiki Onoue and Mr. Budi Wibisana, Directors of the Company, and Mr. Homan Wulur, Vice President of Operations of PT Indomobil Edukasi Utama, symbolically handed over the scholarship to Mrs. Lince Siringoringo, Head of Education Programme of Akper RS PGI Cikini.

In his speech Mr. Taiki Onoue said "The ability to speak English is very important in the business world and for career development. Mastery of English is also necessary for those who work as health workers, because in the era of globalisation more and more foreigners come and work in Indonesia. If they are unwell and live in Indonesia, they need health workers who can communicate well with them".

The event then continued with Financial Literacy to Akper RS PGI Cikini students presented by Mrs. Rafika Yulianti as Head of Customer Service Department of the Company.

The Company hopes that the Financial Literacy provided can improve the knowledge and skills of Akper RS PGI Cikini students in managing finances intelligently and wisely, which can prepare their future towards a financially healthy society.
