[CSR ACTIVITY] – TOGETHER WITH HINO FINANCE BRANCH SEMARANG TO GROW GREENER

Semarang, 22 June 2023 - PT Hino Finance Indonesia ("Company") is implementing a sustainable reforestation program by planting mangroves on Mangunharjo Beach, Semarang.

The greening program is the Company's commitment to support one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), which is Climate Change Management.

Carrying the theme "Bersama Hino Finance untuk Tumbuh Lebih Hijau", the Company planted 2,430 mangroves around the shores of Mangunharjo Beach which are useful for preventing abrasion of coastal areas caused by sea waves, and can overcome the problem of flooding in coastal areas.

Semarang branch employees become representatives of the Company in the delivery of plants. The LindungiHutan Foundation, which is a partner of the Company, fully supports the implementation of the mangrove planting.

The company hopes that this greening activity can help improve the environment, reduce carbon emissions and global warming.

In collaboration with Sekolah Relawan, the Company presented an initiative that not only broadens students’ perspectives, but also equips them with the skills to transform simple things in their surroundings into something useful and valuable.
