[CSR ACTIVITY] - PT HINO FINANCE INDONESIA PROVIDES HEALTH & FINANCIAL EDUCATION IN MUARA BARU, NORTH JAKARTA

Jakarta, 24 June 2024 - PT Hino Finance Indonesia ("the Company") in collaboration with Yayasan Kesejahteraan Anak Indonesia ("YKAI") and the Penjaringan Urban Village Health Center provided Health and Financial Education to residents of RW 17, Muara Indah Flat, Penjaringan - North Jakarta. 

This time, the health education was aimed at young mothers and expecting mother with the theme of improving children's growth and development, which was presented by Mrs. Nurul Adwani as the nutritionist of Penjaringan Urban Village Health Center. This education is in line with the Company's Social Responsibility programme in the health sector for stunting prevention.

Mrs. Nurul explained that the role of parents is very important in the growth and development of children. "Providing nutritious food to expecting mothers and toddlers, health checks, and immunisation are very important," said Mrs. Nurul. 

In addition to Health Education, the Company also provided Financial Education presented by Mrs Anastasia Saraswati, as Head of Operation Legal & Corporate Secretary of the Company. The material presented was about financing institutions; their benefits and risks, as well as the rights and obligations of consumers when taking financing. Furthermore, education was also provided on the recent issue of online loans (pinjol) and online gambling. 

Mrs Hepi Nilasari, as the Head of PKK Kelurahan Penjaringan added "If you want to make a loan, please be careful. Choose a legal company that suits your needs. If we are not wise in choosing a lending institution, it can affect the family's economy and children's future".

The company hopes that this health and financial education can increase knowledge and encourage positive behavior related to children's development and growth. In addition, it is also hoped that parents can learn how to manage finances effectively so that family finances can be maintained.
